Una experiencia positiva

la creación de este blog fue a petición de el Profesor Juan Enrique Cabrales, mi experiencia personal con este proyecto fue muy positiva ya que me sirvió para practicar el idioma inglés de forma escrita, algo que posiblemente por mi misma no hubiera hecho sin los ánimos e insistencia de mi profesor.
A idea de este blog me parece muy positiva ya que nos fuerza a producir lenguaje de manera escrita y al ser la mayoría de los post de tema libre facilita y hace más amena la labor.
Este blog ha servido para darme cuenta de mis múltiples limitaciones y errores gramaticales, y para entender que me falta mucho camino por recorrer, pero esto no me entristece, solo me hace consciente del nivel que actualmente poseo y define a qué nivel debo de llegar.
Agradezco esta labor ya que posiblemente de no haberme visto forzada a realizarla no hubiera obtenido experiencias tan positivas, espero continuar con mi blog para así tratar de mejorar mi expresión escrita y así llegar a un nivel aceptable.

Alucard, The Siberian Prince

For my family was strange at the beginning because was our first dog, but when we sa

w his beautiful brown eyes we fall in love with him. My sister Karen and my dad are who take care of Alucard the most part of the time, Karen became almost an expert in Siberian Husky field trying to

understand our dog, she always says If she knew then what she knows now, Alucard could be more obedient dog.

But that doesn´t matter because he is a good dog, and he love us as we love him, he is our protector always looking for the family security.

Twilight

Twilight is a very interesting book; the story is about Bella a seventeen years old girl who lives Arizona to live with his father in very small and cold town on Forks, she doesn´t feel excited about it, but there in the new school she meet new friends and noticed and strange family The Cullen, all them are beautiful,, almost inhumanly beautiful and some others aspects like they never eats, made them mysterious.
I read this book a month ago in only two nights, was awful for me because I enjoyed this book so much that I didn’t study for my exams; is an amazing love history but this one involves vampires; was so popular that is a best seller now and a movie is coming. I recommended this book for everybody especially if you considerer yourself as a romantic.

AEON FLUX

Hi I´ll like to talk about one of my favorite animations, Aeon Flux; to be honest, sometimes it is hard to me to follow the story, because some episodes turn into very strange and surrealist ones, but maybe that´s because I love this series. It is amazing trying to figure out what is happening in every chapter, I mean, is nice watching something that makes you think a little. I now there are books and documentaries but it is amusing to find something interesting in television with some self essence.
But let me tell you a little about this master piece, Aeon Flux is Aeon Flux is a mysterious and amoral secret agent from the country of Monica. Her motives or background are left unexplained, as are those of her antagonist/love, Trevor Goodchild. On her missions, she deals swift, bloody "justice" to all that oppose her. The second season episodes of this series were unique in that Aeon died at the end of every single episode.
The chemistry between Trevor and Aeon is amazing, is a strange combination of love, passion, hate and admiration. They want to be together but at the same time they are enemies. They fight for different interests but the attraction between them is too strong to be ignored, in fact they are lovers in some episodes.
My favorite quote from this series is: That which does not kill us make us…stranger.

THE MUSICALS

I really love musical movies; you can access of a world of magic and songs and saw a tale and the same time. Many people I Know think musicals are dumps because is kind of strange the character been singing all the time but all that is part of the charm of this type of movies.
One of my very first musicals movies was the Disney ones, especially the little mermaid, beauty and the beast and the Lion King, but one of my favorite ones come later The nightmare before the Christmas with Danny Elfman’s songs. This movie was important because I saw it in English and that made me be interested in that language; to be honest the Spanish version is not that good.
Other great movie is Grease, with Olivia Newton John and John Travolta, is a fun history about school life, love, cars and music.

Exist many other movies but is little late and I need to sleep

My Dear friend Diane

Diane is one of my best friends, I feel I know her like always, we have been friends since high school and spend time with her make my life happier, because I appreciate her friendship and the things she do for me.
We are friends but we are quite of different, She loves go out specially night clubs and I am not a very good dancer and I´m not crazy about night life, she have a different clothes style and sometimes she get concerned about the clothes I choose, she is not sweet type, but she loves me, I know she care about me like I care about her, she’s not very expressive but the fact of spending time with me even if sometimes the activities don’t interest her, let me know she really loves me.
Sometimes seems like we are kilometers apart because the school and work responsibilities but we always find the way to spend little time together.
Diane I love you, believe me, you can count on me, especially when the things seems worst, I´ll be there for you , because what make our friendship special is the differences what we have, and what made it stronger are the happy memories .

THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG.

This will be a big event in Disney animation the first Afro-American Princess in all Disney’s history, this should be good new but this new movie start with many controversy because the name of the princess and the name of the movie. here was some controversy when the name of the heroine of the movie (the first Black American Disney Princess) was announced as "Maddy". The character's name was perceived by some to be a stereotypically lower-class "black name", and the character was also a chambermaid, an occupation some felt not in keeping with the image of a Disney Princess. The new name for the princess is Tiana On April 20, 2007, E! reported that the title of the film could possibly be changed from The Frog Princess to The Princess and the Frog, and that the lead character Maddy may be getting a name change as well. I don’t know why people offense for that kind of things in fact Maddy was a common name in the time when the story occurs, in fact Jazmine is a common name in Arabia and nobody says a word. And about been a maid, a lot of the Disney’s princess have this kind of jobs, the racism is in the eyes of accomplish or racism people, we nee to stopped see it everywhere, actually maybe the movie don’t talk nothing about the cruel situation which the afro American community was living. The racism was something real, and maybe using this kind of situations in the movie can teach something to the children about racism and respect.

Advantages and Disadvantages of watching TV

Today the television is something very common these days, and almost everybody have one in their houses. The family lives usually turns around the television schedule, now I’ll like talk about the advantages and disadvantages of this modern invention. ANVANTAGES. You can see places which maybe you’ll never know in real life Exist many cultural programs to see and learn about it. Is a easy a fast way to know what is happening in the world. When you watch channels of others countries you learn about different cultures. DISADVANTAGES Spend many time in front the TV can make lazy A lot of time in front the TV could made you forget your responsibilities. Stayed sitting all the time watching TV can be unhealthy because the absences of exercise. Your children accidentally can see programs with explicit sex and violence when you are not there. Well exist both good and bad things about spend your time in front the television , but I guess if we as a family learn about don’t abuse of it, we can have a healthy life with television and other activities, like crafts, reading or going out in family. I’m not consider my self as a extremist person, so I believe in the fact of almost everything need a balance all the excess is wrong.

THE SINGING

Mayra and I decided to write about the singing, because we think is a beautiful type of expression, and there is nothing better than to hear a beautiful voice interpreting incredible songs.
The art of singing consist in produce musical sounds with the voice, the people who is singing is called generally singers o vocalist.
In theory anyone who can speak can sing, Could be only for the pleasure to do it, like in a karaoke party or when you are taking a shower. But singing as a High amateur or professional level, requires little natural talent a practice.
Exist seven different major voice categories Women are typically divided into three groups: soprano, mezzo-soprano and contralto. Men are usually divided in four groups: countertenor, tenor, baritone, and bass.
A example Mexican talent voices inside this classification are, the soprano Angela Peralta knowing as the Mexican nightingale , Oralia Dominguez as a contralto voice, the countertenor Héctor Sosa, the tenor Rolando Villazon are some examples of the Mexican talent.
Exist other types of voices generally refers to contemporary commercial music, there is currently no authoritative voice classification system within non-classical music, but this not mean that kind of voices are not good, the beauty of the singing is everywhere and in all the styles.

NIGHTMARE BEFORE THE CHRISTMAS

I recently saw the movie Nightmare Before the Christmas writed by Tim Burton, this history is about a dream world called halloween Town,Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin king of this strange land filled of deformed monsters,ghosts,ghouls,goblings,vampires, witches and a rag doll called Sally.
Jack is the best in his job, he is a master of scare, but even that, he felt Dissatisfied because the repetitive yearly celebration of Halloween, but he accidentally found a portal of Christmas Town and got Impressed by the feeling and style of Christmas, so he decide make his own christmas replacing santa Claus.
People of everywhere get scare because the creepy toys and decoretions they found in their homes, so the army decides to stop the fake Santa (Jack).
Finally Jack realize he was wrong and the Chritmas belongs to Santa, he try to fix all but Santa has been kidnaped by the Oogie Boogie. With the climax ensuing, Jack rescues Sally and Santa and defeats Oogie Boogie. Santa reprimands Jack before setting off to save Jack's Christmas mistakes. Santa flies over Halloween Town and gives it snow as a gift to the town, signifying that there be no hard feelings between him and Jack.
The main Characters of this movie are Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie and Santa Claus.
My favorite of this was Sally because she were the only person with common sense on the story.
I enjoyed the movie because the beautiful music made it by the great Danny Elfman and actually interpreted by them self, the interesting History and the beutiful photography.
I reccomend this movie because is original and have a beautiful message

Congratulations Angel of Music

Well I wanna share with all of you this good news, My friend Martha won first place in a Karaoke contest, she actually deserve this achievement because she was blessed with a beautiful voice.
She have been participated for a while but the absence of a Jury made the past contests unfair, but finally the real talent won.
congratulations angel of music, I'll always suport you in this kind of events and in all you wanna do.
You are my best friend and my favorite singer, I admire the way you sing and the magic you inyect to the songs.

A lesson in Caring

This was a very emotive text and made me think about what I can do for others, and what important is care about other people.
I think they been beneficed because they grow up inside, all that made them better persons, mofre conciense about the problems in the world.
erWhat motived the author to be volunte was the kind heart of his daughter.
So in this case I think the real hero was the girl, because he saw beyond, she perceive what his father forget time ago,the need of other humans beens.

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is known as the greatest basketball player ever,he was born on Febrary 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York,Jordan is the fourth of five children born to James and Deloris. James Jordan was a mechanic worked at an electric plant while his mother worked at a bank.


Jordan played basketball for Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael went to Emsley A. Laney High School, where as a sophomore he was cut from the varsity basketball team.


North Carolina made it to the NCAA Championship, and won because of Michael Jordan.In 1982, he won the National Basketball Championship as a college freshman at the end of the game to beat the other team.


Michael Jordan dominated the Olympic Basketball games he played in and was a key member of the 1992 championship team in Barcelona, also in 1984, joined the NBA as a player for the Chicago Bulls and Quickly became the NBA´s Most Value Player (MVP).


Michael led the Bulls to three World Championships in 1991, 1992 and 1993 before he announced his first retirement and start a baseball career,citing that "he no longer had the desire to play." On March 18, 1995, Jordan, a man of few words since his retirement, sent two important words to media sources everywhere: "I'm Back",so he returned to the National Basket ball Association(NBA).

WHY LOOK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE?

Why everybody want to be like others? I dont know why the society induce people to be the same, killing the natural creativity of the human been. It´s kind of funny, because almost all the greatest things of this world have been made for excentric people, Well, they been considered excentric that time, but are considered artists and genious today.
Anyway I suppose to talk about my clothing style so let´s start this...
My style is... complicated If you have the oportunity to see my closet you will find a bounch of diferent things, jeans, black shirts,gothic styled blouses and jackets or many girly skirts in many colors and styles.
My shoes are different too, I have boots like high converse or military ones, but if you see closer you will find my heels(of course I need them for my beautiful skirts)
What can I say, I like to look different for every occasion.
For me my clothes are a expresion of my humor or what I feel, and why not dress my self everyday is an adventure, because I can be creative in some way.
It`s funny when I go out and people I know can`t recognize me because the way I dress XD.

Been diferent don`t mean been ridiculous, you can use original clothes and still looking good, be a fan of fashion no a slave, well thats what I think

TARJA TURUNEN, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH XD

Hi well I need to write about something , so, maybe is a good topic is the music, and one of my favorites singers is Tarja Turunen, and I had the oportunity to hear her beautiful voice live a few weeks ago :D.
She did a conncert in Monterrey Nuevo Leon in the Cafe Iguanas, a pretty cool place located in Barrio Antiguo; I went there with my boyfriend and other 4 friends in some kind of tour.
My friends are a big fans of Tarja so we spend our day chasing her XD was painful because we wait for her in the hotel for about 3 hours, and 2 hours more outside the place where she and her band had their practice.
We don`t see her, because the security was strong and her husband is little delicated.
Well,we made a Line for the concert, 15 minutes later we were inside the Cafe Iguanas, but we wait for about 2 hours at that point I started to feel angry and tired, I thougth, Tarja you damn diva I hate you, but... sunndenly ,the concert start and when I hear her I cried because the impact of her voice was to much, her soprano voice blow my mind, and then I forget all the pain, that moment worth it .
Tarja Turunen I love you, maybe you are a Diva ,but you have a really good reason, a beautiful voice wich makes a better world.

GODS OF ROCK

oK To be honest I have insomnia, so maybe one more post help me to sleep sooner well I should start to talk about the topic of this post.

This game is amazing, I mean maybe is little freak to see XD but incredible fun to play, in this game you simulate play a guitar :D, the objetive is finish the song, but the play mode made you feel like a real Rock star. Maybe the more interesting thing about this game is the music, is a great soundtrack with Classics Rock songs (like welcome to the jungle,Rock you like a Hurricane,Talk dirty to me and other great hits, of course you have the option to play more actual songs like MIss Murder.

any way exist songs for all the tastes and when you actually understand the play mode, is a wonderful experience, specially for people like me who doesn´t play a intrument in the real world, I´m not very skilled in the music area, but I admire who it is, so If you can´t play and instrument in the real world this is a game for you, and If you can play a guitar maybe this could be a good way to have a Rock battle with your skilless friends, even If you doesn´t like to play any videogame, Guitar hero is something fun to see :), and the music in the game is very enjoyable.

GOODBYE VACATIONS, HELLO SCHOOL

Well It was great while it lasted xD
We´ll back to school in a couple days, I hope everybody have done all the assigments XD
If you don´t? well I think maybe could be a great idea pray for some caritative soul in the first hour :)
3 weeks wow, was a lot of time to relax and do fun activities, maybe the most part of the class went to the beach this Holy week, a bounch of tan persons XD, thats cool, I went to the beach too, but my color don´t change alot, because I cant for my skin type.
I'm not specially motivated to back to the UAT, but believet or not I missed little my classmates, their comments and the fun stuff they do in the classroom made me laugh XD, so I hope see all them again.
Was a excellent time out, all was great for me, except for my dog Alucard, because he get sick, now he´s better now, but all we have worried about his health, maybe my next post will be about Alucard my beautiful Sibearian Husky :).
Well this is all for this time but maybe tomorrow I had something more to say :D

One of my favorites hobbies is clothes confection, and each time that i have free time, I enjoy doing it, so thats why my favorite Tv Show is "Proyect Runway" it focuses on fashion desing The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are restricted in time, materials, and theme. Their designs are judged and one or more designers are eliminated each week. The winner will receive prizes like an editorial feature in a fashion magazine, $100,000 to start his or her own line, the opportunity to sell a fashion line, and, or an automobile.

Im not a real fan of reallity shows but, to me this reallity is the best of all, because the contestans, in fact, are talented, and see their creations inspires me.

It's almost time of the begining of the 4th and new season, Im exited about it and, waiting to see the new designers.

The mask of zorro

"El Zorro" is a popular spanish hero from movies, i used to see the tv show with my sister, (the one in black & white), this character have a great braveness and charisma and care abaut the helpless. It's been a lot of adaptation to the big screen but my favorite one is "The Mask of Zorro" with the gorgeous Antonio Banderas, and the Beatiful Catherine Zeta Jones.

Anthony Hopkins stars as the original Zorro, protecting his people from official corruption in Mexico and what will become California. Now in he's final lap accepp be the mentor of
an impetuous pupil (Antonio Banderas) in the fine arts of swordplay and triumphing over evil.

Catherine Zeta Jones is the beauty linked to both mens, First Zorro's daughter, and new Zorro 's loved woman.

Is a very good adaptation, Highly Recommended.
